  I recently used Antique Rose Florist for my wedding. I was satisfied with the bouquets, they were absolutely beautiful however overall I was unhappy with what was done. I used this shop because my mom has known the owner for years. I sat down with the owner on two different occasions to discuss what I wanted done at my wedding. At the first meeting we discussed a rough draft of what I wanted and she gave me a quote. Over the next couple of months some of the details changed so I went in for a second meeting with her to finalize the details and make the payment. For her weddings she uses a format that addresses each different thing (bouquets, boutineers, cake table, ceremony flowers, etc) which are all written on paper. She then keeps these papers in a binder with all of her other weddings that she is doing. So at the second meeting when everything was finalized she told me the price would change a little which I was ok with. The only receipt I received was a hand written one that showed my payment, but not the details of what I had paid for. I should have taken photos of the paper she wrote my details out on, but I didn't. So the day of the wedding she showed up later than she said she would and I wasn't able to see anything she was setting up. Come to find out, A LOT of what we discussed was missing. The venue and my mom both tried to contact her to ask what happened, but she ignored the calls. After the wedding, my mom and myself tried to contact her many times to discuss what happened and she continued to ignore our calls. When I called the shop multiple times and asked to stop by they said she wasn't there. Over text I asked her for pictures of the paper and she refused to provide them. Instead she sent a fake email with an "agreement of work to be done" to my mom after the wedding saying she sent it to me beforehand even though you can clearly see on the email it was never sent to me. The owner stated she sent this email to me and I emailed her back saying yes to this, definitely not the case seeing as to how I never received this email. The email that was sent to my mom was missing half of the stuff her and I discussed that was written on paper and conveniently only what she actually did at the wedding was on the email. In the end, it's my word against hers and all I can do is warn others to protect themselves when using this florist.
